Steven Gerrard leaves for Saudi Arabia to coach and start poaching his old club (Liverpool) stars

After leaving Aston Villa, Steven Gerrard had the chance to stay in the Premier League, with West Ham United and Leicester City offering him a job, but he left Europe for Saudi Arabia to take charge of the Manda team. Gerrard, who became the new manager, showed his attitude to bringing in players of strength.

Upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia, he began his recruitment drive, with players who had played for his old club (Liverpool) appearing on his list, namely former Liverpool goalscorer Sadio Mane and Liverpool's current captain. The former Liverpool shot-stopper Sadio Mane and current Liverpool captain Henderson are on his list. Sadio Mane is currently playing for Bayern Munich and this season, Sadio Mane has not played well for Bayern. Mane has not played well for Bayern this season, as injuries have prevented him from playing at the same level as he did for Liverpool. Coupled with the rumoured conflict between Mane and Sane, causing Bayern to lose confidence in him, the chances of Gerrard wanting to bring in Mane are still high.

Henderson joined Sunderland FC's youth system at the age of 7. In 2011, Henderson moved to Liverpool FC and helped the team win the English League Cup in his first season with the club. 15 years later, he became Liverpool captain and in 2018-19, Henderson captained the team to their sixth ever Champions League trophy. The difficulty for Gerrard to throw in an olive branch to bring him in would be immense, not only facing the public opinion of poaching his old club, but also quoting a more desirable price, with Liverpool not necessarily letting Henderson go yet.
